Teen's React : SONA 2014

              Every last Monday of the 7th month of the year which was in July 28, 2014 the State of The Nation Address is held so that the president can report his administration's quarterly achievements in this way people would know what he has done for the country.

              President Pnoy discussed certain budgets the government used to make our lives easier. In his speech he also boasted that the country's economy is now doing good, benefits of the Filipinos raise them from poverty, rehabilitation for the people and places affected by the disasters that attacked the country last year, national security, infrustracture projects and the education aspects are priorities

             At the last part of the speech, the president got a bit emotional while defending the Disbursement Acceleration Program or DAP. And used the famous line of his father "The Filipino is definitely worth fighting for."

            It is common that every SONA, the President always make promises. Here are the some of the action items of the Aquino government for the next months or year:

• Laguna Lakeshore Expressway Dike bidding by end of 2014
• Open alternative roads to EDSA
• Opening of the Palawan Busuanga Airport
• Push Bangsamoro Basic Law
• Ensure enough supply of power to meet the growing energy demand
• 2.606 trillion for 2015 National Budget

The Protesters

              Even though many were glad for his achievements, thousands of people protested Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City toward Batasan Pambansa on Monday afternoon. Calling him the pork barrel king. It shows that clearly not all of us were satisfied with the president's works. But I guess fixing the damage of the past administrations is quite a lot of work and he's not really superhuman so I think he'd done a good enough job as a president.
